What is in AG1?
The AG1 formula has been refined over a decade and is ideal for athletes, lifeletes, and everyone in between. AG1 gets all of its ingredients using the most up-to-date science to ensure the greatest possible quality and efficacy. It’s gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, sugar-free, and egg-free. It’s also paleo, keto, and vegan-friendly.
Here’s a quick breakdown of what goes into AG1:
Vitamins and minerals: A proper balance of vitamins and minerals is essential for a healthy neural system and is a key component of a strong immune system.
Antioxidants neutralize the effects of free radicals, which are highly unstable chemicals that can cause cell damage in your body.
Superfood Complex: Each scoop of our superfood blend has the antioxidant equivalent of 12 servings of fruits and vegetables.
Probiotics Without Dairy: Probiotics help to improve gut health, nutrient absorption, and immune system strength. Prebiotics are a form of fiber that feeds probiotics, allowing them to multiply and establish a long-term presence in your gut.
Plant Extracts & Antioxidants: Each scoop contains potent plant extracts, herbs, and antioxidants that provide additional support not found in standard vitamins and minerals. Adaptogens, a wonderful class of medicines that helps you adjust to stress, are among them.
Enzyme & Mushroom Complex: Ingredients include naturally occurring enzymes that aid digestion and improve nutritional absorption. Immune-boosting mushrooms are also included in our composition.

- Antioxidants, anti-inflammatory substances, and compounds that enhance the body’s natural well-being are included in this supplement.

CONS
- For many users, it could be a pricey investment, especially if used as a daily multivitamin supplement over time.
- This product cannot, contrary to popular belief, replace a balanced, healthy diet.

Athletic Greens Reviews
I did some research for Athletic Greens reviews on the internet, including their own website and Amazon.
The official site has wonderful ratings, with everyone giving the supplement a 4 or 5 star rating. “Great product,” “pricey but worth it,” “drink Athletic Greens every morning,” “wonderful flavor,” and so on are all common statements.
“pricey but worth it”….. “amazing flavor”
Athletic Greens also has a few well-known brand ambassadors, including Tim Ferriss, who praised it in his book The 4-Hour Body, Joe de Sena, CEO and Founder of the Spartan Race, and Dagmara Wozniak, a Nike Athlete and 2016 Bronze Medalist in the Olympic Fencing Team.
I quickly skimmed through the one-star reviews to see what flaws I might find. “Gastric difficulties,” “didn’t see any improvement,” “Ingredients are not worth 4x what similar goods cost,” and “arrived with a hole in the bag” were among the most common complaints in these customer reviews.
“It tastes like forest droppings and vanilla whey procreated with some lawn clippings thrown in”

My Takeaway on AG1
So, what are the main points to remember from this Athletic Greens review? This greens powder is one of the most nutrient-dense I’ve tried. It doesn’t have a lot of minerals like calcium and magnesium, so it shouldn’t be used to replace green vegetables in your diet, but it’s packed with vitamins, appears to have a lot of antioxidants, and could help with digestive health.
Athletic Greens is a little more expensive than many other greens powders, which may be prohibitive for some customers, but if the price isn’t an issue, this product could be a great way to get a lot of key nutrients, adaptogens, and digestive health elements.

Athletic Greens seems like a super blend product of healthy ingredients that will support great health. They have made this product to be used by many as it is gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, sugar-free, and egg-free. Moreover, it is good for paleo, keto, and is completely vegan-friendly. Incredible? But if it is so remarkable, as it claims, then why are the ingredients not listed on the label with nutritional facts? Many people have been taught to wisely look for this information in determining the value of a product. It is disappointing that even though it is expensive and makes huge claims that this information is not provided. I guess, the only way people can evaluate is to find positive reviews! You have presented this product in a positive light and it does come with a money back provision.
Thank you so much for sharing. Yea, I always say if you can afford it, it’s a great substitute for getting in your vitamins & nutrients in one drink! Thank you!
75 vitamins in a drink? Wow, sign me up. I have always wondered why I have to take a pill for this and a drink for that. Though I appreciate that AG1 is not a replacement for a healthy diet it goes a long way in meeting this desire that I have. I am not too bothered that they don’t detail all the ingredients as AG1 is NSF certified, which means that they do the heavy lifting of making sure I am getting good nutritional value for my money. One thing that I scrolled down to was the price and it does pack a pocket wallop at $99 but who said good living at this level would be cheap. Certainly, something for me to consider next time I am in the shop. Thanks for the review.
Thank you for sharing. Yea, 75 vitamins in a drink is pretty insane, but it is convenient for the average person who doesn’t get their veggies in daily. You’re welcome!
Athletic Greens is full of healthy substances, amazing in the description. I was sick and I think it would have helped me a lot.
It is used by many because it has no sugar, dairy and so on.
In addition, it is good for paleo, keto and is completely vegan friendly. Incredible? It’s incredible how appreciated it is, although it is not known exactly what it contains. It is a favorable presentation and I was amazed that it is used by so many celebrities.I’m not used to returning the money but it’s encouraging.I have not seen other reviews, maybe one that is not so positive gives new elements.
Respectfully
Vasile,
Thank you Vasile! I hope you feel better!
If what the AG1 claims to have is indeed true it seems like a really good product. Unfortunately with so many fake health supplements out there it is increasingly hard to distinguish what is real and what not so when it comes to such products I always like to consult with a health specialist first. I am all in for such products but only when I am sure they are good for my health.
Definitely do your research first before taking / buying any supplements. Thanks Stratos!
Are there really 75 vitamins in the product, if there are that’s amazing. I do like that there are prebiotics as well as probiotics as I believe gut health is super important in your life. I only wonder why the product can’t have a more informative label on the ingredients that are in it. I do think that it’s worth a try and as each person is an individual when it comes to feeling the effects of supplements.
Thank you for sharing Ruth!
Hi Lorenz,
I am hearing AG or Athletic Greens for the first time. Is AG1 same as spirulina which is also a superfood or is it different from it? I see that AG1 contains adaptogens which might be different from natural spirulina. However, would forward to know this.
However I see that AG1 is great for athletes and a source of all day energy. What would be the best time to have it?
Best Regards,
Rohit
Thank you Rohit! The best time to take it is whenever you feel like it! I usually take it after my first meal.
