There’s friends…then there’s “HAWAII FRIENDS”…
FRIENDS: Never ask for food or what to bring.
HAWAII FRIENDS: Always bring food and what you need. Beer is automatic.
FRIENDS: Will say “hello”.
HAWAII FRIENDS: Will give you a big hug and a kiss on da cheeck.
FRIENDS: Call your parents Mr. and Mrs.
HAWAII FRIENDS: Call your parents’ aunty & uncle or mom & dad
FRIENDS: Have never seen you cry.
HAWAII FRIENDS: Cry with you or make you cry
FRIENDS: Will listen and tell you what you want to hear.
HAWAII FRIENDS: Will tell you da truth whether you like it or not AND call you stupid when you no listen
FRIENDS: Will eat at your dinner table and leave.
HAWAII FRIENDS: Will spend HOURS talking story, laughing, and just being together….THEN help clean-up when all pau!
FRIENDS: Know a few things about you.
HAWAIIAN FRIENDS: Can tell you stories fo’ days….with direct quotes.
FRIENDS: Will leave you behind if that’s what the crowd is doing.
HAWAII FRIENDS: Will kick EVERYBODY’S okoles that left you.
FRIENDS: Would call first then knock on your door.
HAWAII FRIENDS: No need call, they jus stop by and walk right in and say…… Eh Howzit! Like drink?!!
FRIENDS: Get mad when you no stay in contact
HAWAII FRIENDS: Years can go by and we pick up right where we left off like was yesterday
FRIENDS: Come and go.
HAWAII FRIENDS: Family
FRIENDS: Goin ignore this.
HAWAII FRIENDS: Goin cut n’ paste to Status to spread “da aloha spirit”! 🤙🏼🌈🌺
